Lynx Clinic Attracts Over 50 Kids to Apple Valley Community Center
MidCountry Bank sponsored a Minnesota Lynx boys and girls basketball clinic at the Apple Valley Community Center on Wednesday, August 14. The kids, ages 7 to 14 polished their skills in dribbling, passing and shooting and had the opportunity for Q & A with WNBA Champion and Olympian, Maya Moore from the Minnesota Lynx. At the end of the clinic the kids competed in the Bank Shot contest, where one winner from each grade won the coveted "I made the Bank Shot" t-shirt. All other clinic participants left with an "I saw the Bank Shot" t-shirt, courtesy of MidCountry Bank. Pictured below are the Bank Shot winners.
50 Girls Participate in Lynx Clinic at Minnetonka High School
MidCountry Bank sponsored a Minnesota Lynx girls basketball clinic at the Minnetonka High School on Tuesday, July 30. The girls honed their skills in dribbling, passing and shooting and had the opportunity for Q & A with Minnesota Lynx player and WNBA All Star Seimone Augustus. The girls also competed in the Bank Shot contest, where one winner from each grade won the coveted "I made the Bank Shot" teal t-shirt. MidCountry Bank Sponsors Free Minnesota Lynx Basketball Clinic in McLeod County
MidCountry Bank sponsored a free Minnesota Lynx basketball clinic at the McLeod County Fair Grounds Monday, June 24, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. More than 40 kids age 8 to 12 refined their skills in dribbling, shooting and footwork. They also had the opportunity to meet and ask questions with Hutchinson native and WNBA star with the Minnesota Lynx, Lindsay Whalen.
At the end of the clinic the kids competed in the Bank Shot contest, with one winner per grade receiving a free "I made the Bank Shot" t-shirt and having their photo taken with Whalen. Each clinic participant received a pair of Lynx tickets to the game on July 9 and an autograph from Whalen.

MidCountry Bank is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association. On Saturday, May 4, over 30 team members and families participated in the Heart Walk at Target Field. Through your support for the American Heart Association, we raised approximately $3,100 to fund groundbreaking heart and stroke research.

MidCountry Donates $5k to Lifeboat Alliance of Mt. Vernon
Lifeboat Alliance received a generous $5,000 donation in March of 2013 from MidCountry Bank in Mt. Vernon. The check presentation occurred at a recent Southern Illinois University Saluki basketball game. MidCountry Bank is a full-service community bank with a regional presence in Southern Illinois, Minnesota and Nevada.
Lifeboat Alliance provides support and services for the homeless in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas who are seeking sustained life transformation by providing case management to assist connecting needs to resources.

MidCountry Proudly Supports Lighthouse Shelter of Marion with $5k Donation
Lighthouse Shelter recently received a generous donation of $5,000 in March of 2013 from MidCountry Bank in Marion. Lighthouse Shelter provides outreach activities and services for the homeless in the community. They strive to break the cycle of homelessness in Williamson County and surrounding areas by fostering partnerships with social services to provide basic needs and case management services to those in need.
