Find Out How Easy it is To Open an Account Online
How long will it take me to complete the application?
This will depend on how prepared you are with the information required to complete the application. On average, it should take about ten minutes. To avoid delays in completing the application, please have the following important information ready for each owner on the account:
Why am I required to complete certain fields?
Some fields are required because it is information needed to complete the application and establish accounts with the bank. Required fields are noted with a red asterisk symbol (*) next to each field.
How do I move to the next page?
Most pages will have a 'Continue' button; click this button to go to the next page. In some cases, you may be presented with a Disclosure that will prompt you to accept. Accepting the disclosure may be required to continue with the online application.
How do I go back to a previous page?
Do not use the 'Back' button on your browser toolbar. The application information can be edited at the end of the application.
Can I open more than one account at a time?
If I have to step away from filling out the online application or there's a delay before I can return to it, how much time do I have before the session times out?
The period of inactivity is set at 10 minutes per online page before the session times out. If the session times out without completing or saving, you will need to start a new application from the beginning.
What if I accidentally close my browser or click the Quit This Application link?
You can access your pending application by selecting return to saved application.
What is NMLS?
NMLS stands for National Mortgage Licensing System. NMLS is the system of record for non-depository, financial services licensing or registration for participating state agencies, including the District of Columbia and U.S. Territories of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam.
